Up at my in laws. Drive good, though my back was soooo sore by the end. Taste of Chicago was a bad idea, but damnit I wasn't about to let my pregnant body deprive me of some deep dish and fried...stuff. Snapped at my mom and my sister, deservedly I think, but I've definitely got a reputation among my family as an intolerant, cranky bitch. Eh. ( Read more... )

I had the same issues with Superman. :) I liked it overall, but there were a few inconsistencies. I wasn't thrilled with whatshername as Lois Lane. Too... floofy. I did, however, LOVE Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor, but I adore Kevin Spacey anyway, so it just made it that much better. :)
I did almost cry when Superman was saying the same things to the boy that were said to him... but I was an emotional mess going into that movie.

Oh, I thought Kevin Spacey was divine too! He really nailed it. That scene where he finds Lois Lane on his boat, and he's brushing his teeth and staring at her...I was in fits over how perfectly he did that!

Hope you don't mind, I added you as a friend. You replied to a post in natural living re: green cleaning. Then I saw you were in Mundelein. I am in Grayslake! I have 2 kids, 12/13/02 and 6/27/06 and a big advocate of breastfeeding.

Heh! Yes, I figured that was a typo when I saw the picture on your journal and went, huh, he's pretty darn big for three weeks old... :)
