This is an excellent dish for impressing overnight company. Easy and dee-lish!

Crescent Sausage Casserole
2 large cans refrigerated crescent rolls
1 lb. bulk sausage, cooked and drained
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
4 oz. can chopped green chiles
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1. In a 9X13” well-greased casserole dish, spread out 1 can crescent roll dough, covering the bottom. Pinch seams together.
2. Mix sausage, cream cheese and chiles together while sausage is still warm. Stir until well-combined.
3. Spread sausage mixture over crescent roll dough. Top with cheddar cheese. Spread remaining can of dough on top, covering completely. Pinch seams together.
4. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes, or until top is golden-brown.
This was passed to me a from a friend, so I don't know where it originated, but it is a wonderful dish.
