I went to the same Gorillaz Rehearsal gig as thehumaneffect, and got some pictures to share as well. You can never have enough pics of the current happiest frontman in the world, right?
They clearly like each other very much
I can't remember with what he was singing along
Damon obviously found it a bit weird that they used the pre-recorded guests, so he started to pretend that they were on stage with him anyway
Managed to get a setlist \m/
And in case anyone has any doubts (even after thehumaneffect's story) that Damon is not nice to his fans I have a lovely story to share. Behind me was another Dutch girl who is currently studying 2-d animation because she's a huge admirer of Jamie Hewlett. She made this gorgeous card with all the Gorillaz and Monkey characters on it and managed to give it to the photographer who in turn gave it to Damon. Apparently Damon loved it and showed it around to everyone who wasn't quick enough to run away. In the end he signed her a piece of paper with the words: "Hi Liz, I really loved the postcard. Love, Damon". How sweet is that?
