~Thursday~  I got to the city stop at 8:16, and the bus arrived at 8:25. There were more students on the bus than usual, as the university buses are on a weird schedule this week; I think it might be between Summer Session I and Summer Session II now ( Read more... )

~Friday~  I caught the city bus for the first time in a while, arriving at the stop at 8:17 and boarding the bus at 8:25. Hot Mess Driver was at the helm, and the temperature on the bus was warm, but not excruciating.

~Friday~ I was counting on an 8:22 bus arrival this morning, since I got to the stop a little bit late. I checked the temperature while waiting, and I was shocked to see 19° on my weather channel phone app, but I just couldn't believe it was that cold, so I checked wral.com/weather, which said 26°. ~Thursday~ NC State University was on a weather delay today, starting at 10:00. I checked in with my boss at just after 9:00, which just made me nostalgic for "the good old days."

~Tuesday~ I woke up with a cough that felt like it sucked pure acid up through my esophagus, and a temperature of 99.7°, making me even more grateful to be able to work from home today ( Read more... )

~Monday~  I had my alarm set to 7:00, which is when my doctor's office opens, and I called to tell them I wouldn't be making my 7:30 appointment to have lab work done, and rescheduled it for this coming Friday when I'll be working from home.
