~Monday~  I woke up at 11:50, after only having been asleep a couple of hours, and I couldn't fall back asleep ( Read more... )

~Sunday~  I gloriously slept in this morning.

When I got up, there was coffee waiting for me, and Barbara had made bacon and eggs for us. We sat out on the porch, where Bob and I woofed down breakfast. It was all so good.

~Saturday~  We started off our day by meeting more of Bob's relatives for breakfast. We met Bob's niece Stephanie, her son Drew (youngest of 4!), and her mom, Mary, at the Country Kitchen in Marshall, MI. We enjoyed catching up, and hearing about their busy lives.

~Friday~  We had breakfast at the Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront hotel, since it was complimentary.

Then we packed up to check out and start our day, which consisted of going over the Mackinaw Bridge to St. Ignace on the upper peninsula, and later crossing back to the lower peninsula to head to Ocqueoc Falls State Park before heading back to ( Read more... )

~Thursday~  We were up early, took our time packing, and eventually headed out to start today's drive toward Michigan's Upper PeninsulaWe'd planned to stop for breakfast shortly after getting out of Battle Creek, but we ended up not stopping until close to noon for a combination bathroom break, gas fill-up, and lunch. ~Wednesday~  We were up at about 7:00, and Bob made coffee for us. We made our beds and straightened out our room, before leaving at a little before 10:00 for another house showing ( Read more... )

~Tuesday~   We had breakfast at Barbara and Charley's house, where Bob scrambled us some eggs, which we had with toast we made from the remainder of the loaf of bread we'd taken with us in the car, and which had served us so well for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on our trip up. ~Monday~  We were up fairly early this morning, and we hung out on the screened-in porch until it was time to leave the house for another showing.

Barbara is considering us their good luck charm, as they'd had a little dry spell of showings until we came into town.
