I'm engaged!!!
*huge smile*
So we were cuddled up and relaxing and I dozed off a bit...Chris slipped the ring on my finger while I was sleeping and woke me up with a kiss on the nose. When I opened my eyes, he smiled and said, "Cristina, will you marry me?" I didn't realize he was ACTUALLY proposing (we'd talked about it) so I just laughingly responded "Of course I will, baby!" and it wasn't until I reached up to hug him that I noticed the ring on my finger.
I'm engaged to the love of my life and I couldn't be happier. We have a website on theknot.com, and there will be more details to come. We've tentatively set the date for October 25th, 2009 (Chris is being deployed on a 6 month cruise in December and we didn't want to plan until after he got back) so that gives us plenty of time to finalize plans. We do, however, have a pretty good idea of who will be in the wedding party - and I want Adrianne and Raymond to be in it.
