Today was my "stay-home-and-do-nothing" day off from school/work.
I had agreed to do a quick video chat session with one of my local lolita community's moderators, for which I didn't want to be in my pajamas, so I thought I might as well dress up and go do some errands for my dad afterwards and get my little sister some junk food.
I wore a sweet-casual coord today. It was too hot out! I didn't feel like layering too much or even wearing a wig. The occasion didn't call for contact lenses either.
Skirt, headbow: Handmade by me
T-shirt: I Love H81 Los Angeles
Shoes: Volatile
Socks, jewelry: Off brand
The skirt is one of the first Lolita skirts I ever made. It is special to me because it is the skirt I wore on my first date with my boyfriend. I never wore it again until now, so it's been over a year since I wore it. I think it's because of the colors. They're not very easy to coordinate. The gray is too dark and the pink is too pale compared to most pink things I own, but I like how it looks in casual coords. I need to find more ways to coordinate this skirt casually.
I had a purse, but it was black and even though the cupcakes on the shirt have black outlines, I thought it didn't really match. Thus it didn't make it into the pictures. lol
