I've been really bad about updating my gift knit list too. Of course, part of that is because I haven't finished anything in a while! I should at least alter it to indicate that I've finished the Twisted Pumpkin hat but have already given it to Elena.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
Why, yes, it is. Sadly for you, I have no mind of my own and must content myself with stealing others' pattern ideas. ;D J/K. Actually I feel bad for you that you can't post pics of patterns used for babies without me eying it and, usually, stealing it! Sorry 'bout that. lol

I figured that facecloths will be nice to have and practical while she's traveling.
That's a great idea. She'd better appreciate it!

Looking over this list, I really haven't either. If anything, I've been adding items, and also working on things not on the list. Opps. Still hopeful, though.

Oh, so true. Haha! It's okay. Least I know you enjoy what I've been making thus far for the girls. I do feel a bit guilty for displaying pictures of the tank dress before saying it was for Elena. Course have found so many variations of summer dresses that I'm sure you'll be able to make her at least five more.

By the way, I did send out the yarn yesterday. Also got my Knit Picks catalog in the mail. Yay! It's their holiday issue. Oi.

Crossing my fingers on the facecloths. If she doesn't like them... oi.

Well, I spent so much time on Elena's pumpkin stuff, not to mention mittens for both girls (and an additional pair for Kiersten), that I suppose it's not surprising that I haven't done much from the list for a while!

I'm sure you're right. Haven't gotten to searching, just yet.

I received the yarn today, yay! It is beautiful and sooo soft. I got my Knit Picks catalog yesterday too!

You have been one busy lady. :) Fortunately I haven't strayed too far away from the list. The mittens were something I wanted to finish for a few months, and the pinwheel sweater was done mostly because I realized there was a recipiant for it. That's how it goes for me many times. I'm always finding patterns I enjoy, yet the real excitement and desire to start making them comes once I realize the recipiant.

With little under 50 days left, think we're both gonna make it. Helps to have someone there as an encourager. :D

I'm absolutely in love with Tesoro yarn. I definately feel fortunate to have found it when I did. Went to JoAnn's yesterday and couldn't believe it; there was only 7 skeins left in the whole store! They have it marked down to $1.50, so you might want to hurry and grab some while you can.

Got my Knit Picks catalog Monday. Oooo pretty! Have been oooing and ahing at the various patterns and yarn since.
