Things you have in common

Kiriya Hiromu: I wonder if we have a lot in common.

Aono Yuki: Hmm me too.

Kiriya Hiromu: For example, our enthusiasm. We get really addicted to dramas, movies and even actors, don’t we? Even so, that’s also kind of a maniacal side to us…

Aono Yuki: (laughs) That’s something normal people don’t really see, right?

Kiriya Hiromu: Yeah! Even if it’s an actor or singer who I don’t know, you know who they are. So when I talk about that, I would be happy.

Aono Yuki: You often give demonstrations of a productions atmosphere or talk about foreign actors, right?

Kiriya Hiromu: You mean like, ‘in that movie, like that person’, right?

Aono Yuki: Not just the protagonist but ‘that person who was in that scene’ (laughs) And so, I’m also like ‘ah, I get it, I get it.’ Even though I wonder how I am able to understand. (laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: I think inside, ‘you really do understand, don’t you~’.  We both really do have that in common.

Aono Yuki: That’s true. There definitely is something that we both can understand.

Kiriya Hiromu: I think if it’s a combi, then it’s compatibility. I think it was easy to partner us together since the things we like and value are relatively similar. The process until now, without knowing, has been coming along and is not relationships that have taken long months and years to build. So I think there was difficulty putting intuition together but I’m glad they were put together.

Aono Yuki: Yes. When it comes to your intentions, I really do nothing but respond.

Kiriya Hiromu: There might basically be nothing when things don’t match sensibly. Well, even if I say one thing or another, I think I have to really thank you since you agree with me, I’m sorry.

Aono Yuki: No, no, no. You think that but I always think in that way. While talking to you, I’ve never had thoughts where something’s wrong…

Kiriya Hiromu: On stage, we resemble each other closely in relation to values and the type of passion we hold may also be similar. Besides, you have variety as well. Like, in the way you speak about the style of fashion, ‘you’ve got it’. (laughs)

Aono Yuki: (laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: You know, I thought, ‘this girl’s got it so she’ll be fine.’

What would you switch places with in a glimpse?

Aono Yuki: I want become you and play with Finch.

Kiriya Hiromu: What the? (laughs)

Aono Yuki: I thought it’d be a lot of fun…(laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: That’s ordinary for me so if I suddenly notice, I end up talking about Finch. (laughs)

Aono Yuki: That seems like a lot of fun.

Kiriya Hiromu: Even though Finch is a pet, whether it should be said he has a lifestyle, his reaction is one by one suspiciously human. It’s as if I live with a son or uncle. (laughs)

Aono Yuki: (laughs) He’s an important person, isn’t he?!

Kiriya Hiromu: Seriously, don’t you just really want to be Finch? (laughs)

Aono Yuki: (laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: Also, before when we rode on the car, you sprouted out all these compliments without pausing. (laughs) He must’ve been communicating something while sniffing around as he got onto your lap.

Aono Yuki: While in that situation, he looked out the window without doing anything. (laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: Yep. (laughs) And you went to see him especially. That’s sort of like his way of greeting.

Aono Yuki: I like feeling important. (laughs) It seems like travelling together with Finch would be all ‘uwaa~’ but that image wasn’t attached to him…(laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: Indeed (laughs). There might almost not be anything like that. (laughs) That’s why, he’s really relaxed. He wants to spend time relaxing with you. (laughs) But I think it’s better if you give up and think you’re with an old man. Since his snoring and burping is pretty amazing.

Aono Yuki: Cute~!

Kiriya Hiromu: Are you going with that timing? (laughs) Whatever it is, you’ve already become an amateur.

Aono Yuki: But he only does that in front of you. I’m sure.

Kiriya Hiromu: Probably. (laughs)

Aono Yuki: Next, I want to dance and sing with your walking ability.

Kiriya Hiromu: Then say so. (laughs)

Aono Yuki: Like, to move flexibly…

Kiriya Hiromu: Then, if I become Ms. Aono, I will do a cute role like Belle from ‘The prince of the land of Roses’. Belle is a strong-willed girl but there’s also a side to her where she’s weak and can crumble. It’s an image of a heroine that I like. I wonder if I want to do Sabina from ‘The man of Algier’ next. It seems to have a good feeling, taking along men and dancing in a club. I want to become Aono Yuki and be lifted.

Aono Yuki: I think you can definitely do it.

Kiriya Hiromu: No, no, no, no.

Aono Yuki: You often watch rehearsals including lifting rehearsals. Before doing it, people say ‘like this?’ and in a flash, it’s easily done. I often talk with everyone about how it’s possible that we can do it.

Kiriya Hiromu: Lifts are something that can be done with mutual actions so timing and one’s power to hold the position is a way to lift someone up but it isn’t good if there isn’t a way to lift someone. Originally, I used to like pair dances and ever since it was decided that we were going to be partnered, I started to like it less.

Aono Yuki: Me too. I liked being partnered and dancing. Thank you very much for lifting me up that much during the previous photo shoot. (laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: (laughs)

A story about a failure

Aono Yuki: I think it’s just me.

Kiriya Hiromu: When you fail, it’s big, isn’t it? Even when falling, it’s dynamic.

Aono Yuki: Even during the duet dance of ‘The Gypsy Baron’, my skirt was entwined…

Kiriya Hiromu: Even though it was easy choreography, you still went ‘bataan!’

Aono Yuki: It wasn’t the time for a big technique but it’s always like that. Also, I fell by myself at the part where I let go of you. (laughs).

Kiriya Hiromu: I wanted to help you but I was surprised and ended up staring at the ‘not very well done’ fall so…Sorry I can’t always support you. (laughs)

Aono Yuki: No it’s my responsibility. (laughs) Also, you really don’t have any failures…Once you didn’t sing during a duet dance though.

Kiriya Hiromu: That’s true! It was the song you and I sing in the last scene of ‘The prince of the land of Roses’.

Aono Yuki: I sang ‘la~ la la la la’…

Kiriya Hiromu: I was speechless. (laughs) Even though it was a duet song, it became a scene (laughs). The music was playing in my head but my mouth wasn’t singing. Afterwards, I said ‘I didn’t sing’ (laughs).

Aono Yuki: Even if something happens to you, I end up sweating.

OO I only know of

Aono Yuki: You’re a safe driver, aren’t you?

Kiriya Hiromu: What’s that supposed to mean? (laughs)

Aono Yuki: A while ago, we went to a theatre together and when I was able to ride in the car you drove, I thought you must be a safe driver.

Kiriya Hiromu: Really?

Aono Yuki: I heard you like cars so if you drive a lot…

Kiriya Hiromu: You thought I drove like a race driver?

Aono Yuki: Yes. I had the image that you would drive unhindered so it was unexpected. You are the safest driver out of the people around me who I know.

Kiriya Hiromu: How rough! (laughs) Well I’ve never exceeded safe. I think you become that way with the accumulation of the drivers curriculum. There are also people who want to become a gold driver after that. They say, ‘I’ll definitely become a gold driver at the next license renewal!’  (laughs)

Aono Yuki: I see! (laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: Well, since you can’t say something when the amazing Ms. Aono Yuki is in the car with you.

Aono Yuki: Goodness, that’s said a lot~. (laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: (laughs) The girl who sits in my passenger seat is not reckless since I behave.

Aono Yuki: That was lucky. (laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: The Marimo that only I know…u~mm, doesn’t exist!

Aono Yuki: Because I am as I am, right? (laughs)

Kiriya Hiromu: Yup. (laughs)

On top of being a combi, what do you want to take great care of?

Kiriya Hiromu: We face each other on stage, in productions and as characters. I think while we always have an adventurous heart, we want to grow more and work out a colour that only we can distinctly show. That feeling hasn’t changed since we started working together.

Aono Yuki: Indeed. We never had the thought of becoming a certain way. I just have the thought that it would be good if we could beat every performance without protection.

Kiriya Hiromu: I think so too. If we protect ourselves, it’s over. When I go on stage, I throw away my year level, career and I want us to be equal. So, I want you to stay the same.

Aono Yuki: The minute you leave your year level, I have often thought that I’m not worthy enough…But as a person who stands in this situation, that doesn’t become a reason and I think that I must catch up if there is the responsibility where I must put in great effort. Normally I’d really do it freely but I want to complete the responsibility without acting spoilt.

Kiriya Hiromu: Rather than saying you were ‘transferring’, the both of us might be partners who are suited for that direction.

Aono Yuki: That is something I am very grateful of. I will also endeavour to do my best.
