We found a place!
Yes we did! Had two viewings today. The first place was in the Hamptons (yeah, that's right, I would have felt like I was living in a Seinfeld episode), and it was really nice. We applied for it, and we had a good feeling about it. Went to lunch after before our next viewing. That one is actually about 3-5 blocks North of where I live now, and we looked at it, and got it right on the spot. We signed the lease and everything, she's just going to check out references. It's a three bedroom townhouse, newly rennovated, One and a half bath, and a really nice finished basement that I'm pretty stoked about. We take possesion on the 22nd. Nicole is moving in then, while Andy and I are going to do it on Wednesday the 26th. I'm so glad we finally found something, and a place that's really nice.
I started packing when I got home, and my living room is pretty much done. Packed up all my movies, vinyl, CD's, video games, and books. I didn't realize how messy the hallway closet is, holy fuck. My mom is going to come over Tuesday to help me clean up the apartment, then I'll probably start packing my room.
Andy picked me up a ticket for The Gaslight Anthem show. I'm pretty excited for that, as well as Bonnie 'Prince' Billy coming up. Should be fun. We're also talking about going to Sasquatch this year, but who knows. So far the only bands confirmed are Kings of Leon, The Avett Brothers, Peter, Bjorn, and John, Sun Kil Moon, Todd Barry, and Zach Galifianakis (it would be so fucking sweet to see his set), but the rumoured bands are The Decemberists (Fuuuck I hope), Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, John Vanderslice, Monotonix, Pasion Pit, Tobacco, and The Walkmen, who would also be so fucking sweet to see. So yeah, I really want to go.
I have to work tomorrow at 10:30, and I really don't want to, but whatever. I have Tuesday and Wednesday off, so I can't complain.
