That Was The Weekend That Was
Friday -- We attended a potluck equinox party at Greystone Nature Preserve. Our dish was cheese and hummus stuffed jalepeno peppers from Farm to Table. Crashed at my mother's house in Buffalo
Saturday -- Spent all day with mother. Took her out for brunch, drove her around the park a few times before she got tired and wanted to go back to the home. The 'estate sale' for her brother's house apparently consisted of telling Goodwill to back up the truck. Some relatives aren't happy. Not my circus, not my monkeys, not my problem. Home to crash.
Sunday -- Went to UU Services. Co-ordinating Council meeting after services, as the new VP, I'm supposed to be in charge, but I figured I'd sit quietly and just observe the first time. So, naturally the minister opens the meeting and announces me as being the person in charge. Fortunately, someone else had typed up an agenda.
Monday -- I need a weekend to recover from my weekend. No free time at all.
