That Was The Weekend That Was (Part II)
Last month's blacksmith gathering, we had 32 people including 15 first-timers. The forge master started teaching Blacksmithing 101 and I thought to myself, "Boy, have I come a long way!"
This month's blacksmith gathering, it was cold and snowy and we had just the die-hards and senior blacksmiths working on stuff and I thought to myself, "Boy, do I have a long way to go!"
Good news! I finally finished the hinges I promised for Ken Wright.
Bad news! I didn't get the Mandalorian Armor that Judy donated to Iron in the Hat. This is the same woman who gave me the sword last month. I was SO dis-appointed I didn't get it. My wife says she was disappointed too, but she didn't really sound that sincere.
