16.) Digging for Richard III: The Search for the Lost King by Mike Pitts (non-fiction)
This is NOT a biography of Richard III, this is the story of the archaelogical dig that led to the discovery of his body.  It's an interesting conflict between professional archaelogists who painstaking document everything and won't draw a conclusion until all negatives have been eliminated and tabloid reporters who want to put the wildest ideas in print.  That fact that it sounded like something that belongs in a tabloid doesn't help matters any.  The book was so fascinating, that I intend to take it out again and write a book review for the AEthelmearc Gazette.
