Rough week. But I DID smile, too!
things that make me smile:
- Being right about not keeping the "drinking" secret from the parents & principal.
- FUN time with Kitty: he gets wigged out over balloons. I laughed until I cried. True story.
- Roommate who shows me how to make cute bentos (though I think I'm addicted to bentotv.com so it evens out)
- I have not bitten my nails since the end of January. I can now play with magnetic poetry with minimal trouble (still a klutz, tho)
- I got balloon animal balloons from daiso. (see "fun time with kitty" above)
- I am finding out I am a better teacher than the teacher who quit last semester. He apparently marked very generously and gave away answers. WTF? I might be disorganized but at least I don't do THAT.
- There was this Very Tall Preppy Man on the bus last week. He was cute as well.
- Random fellow-pedestrian smiled at me today while I was heading home. Pity it was very cold. Even more's the pity that he was wearing insane t-shirt and shorts combo.
- Started downloading old Gummi Bears cartoons for nostalgia (yeah, nostalgia). Downside: daytime earworm of theme song. (...bouncing here and there and everywhere...)
- I got mustard on my shirt at lunch ... right on the BOOB!! after wiping it with a cloth, some yellow still showed, but because of the pattern, nobody noticed. hee hee.
- Had a strange dream the other day: Sir Ian McKellan and Alan Cumming took me to the French countryside to their cottage. We had a big sleepover and Alan started to, ahem, misbehave. Ian scolded Alan and said he'd sleep between Alan and me so that I'd be safe. (I know, I know!)
- I bought sour candies today. :D
