transportation tales

I've been riding my bike to work a lot lately. And I can really see the benefits. At first it took me 45min. I've pared it down to 35. That's pretty good, considering it takes me 25 to actually drive there. But I have a bone to pick with the stupid St. Louis drivers. They give me plenty of room, but they sure do like to honk at me. It scares me so bad and has almost caused me to crash. I'm sure they're just trying to convey the sense of "hey there's a foxy girl on a bike" but they obviously don't understand how much concentration riding a bike on a busy road takes. Our bike trip is only 2 weeks away. I can't wait to be on the trail again!

My car is making a weird noise. I really need to take in into the shop for a look-see. It sounds like something is scraping, but it doesn't happen all the time. Also it goes away when I put my foot on the brakes. Miserable mystery.

Shakespeare in the Park starts this weekend. I'm so excited! I love shakespeare, and this year they are doing The Tempest, which I don't know at all, so I really looking forward to learning a new one.

Jamie and I are switching rooms. I think it will be good, I'm ready for a change and I think she's really ready for some privacy. I think I love rearranging furniture.

Grandpa is sick and I'm so scared. I get so agitated and frustrated when I think about it. I wish there was something I could do to help or make it better.
