(no subject)
Well, I was all set to register for a 5K (I have dreams of a marathon, but have to start somewhere, right?) but just found out that it's the same weekend as Layna's wedding. Hmmm, running in Stlouis or a fun filled weekend in SanDiego. I didn't really have too much trouble deciding what I wanted to do. Roadtrip!
This week has been going really well. I've been out in service everyday, and have felt somewhat successful. I'm also working 24 hours this weekend (Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon and night) so I'll actually have some money. On top of that I'm doing something fun and exciting tonight. Although I don't know what yet. We'll see.
I got my DPA all filled out and notarized. I just made copies for my durable power of attorney and alternate. So now I feel like my life can be in danger at any moment. And my conscience is unharmed. At least about that aspect of my life.
Chinese classes are going really well. I'm learning the basic sounds and some simple conversations. I hope to be able to start learning vocab soon. I just ordered a chinese bible. this is getting serious!
In March I'm going to a Flogging Molly/Hot Water Music concert in Kansas City. I'm excited about it. Also in March or April, I don't know which, I'll be throwing Elliott and Hannah a wedding shower. I'm already overwhelmed about that.
