The Boy with a Dragon Tattoo 3.1

Jung Yonghwa watches the female tennis team in his university whenever he has spare time. He watches them from a distance, because he is aware of his looks, and his presence would demand attention from the players and other passersby. Besides the fact that female tennis players dress impressively, his first ex-girlfriend when he reached Korea was a tennis player as well. That's why he was aware of the things they were doing.

He never noticed Seohyun before he met her in the gym. He looked with amusement as he saw her talking with another cute player while doing the ladder drills. He soon saw Taeyeon, the tennis team captain, scolding the two of them for talking during training. They were punished by running around the tennis complex for a certain amount of time. They were bickering while jogging. She was too cute for him to resist not to show up and tease her.

He took off his jacket. He remembered that her eyes popped open when he approached her last time. He also remembered how her eyes were travelling through his body. He thought that it was a good idea to show her his muscles. He had a lot of fun remembering how she was distracted by his abs when he first met her. He can't resist teasing girls like that.

He stood by the fence and called the woman. She saw him and tripped, bringing down her friend with her. He couldn't help but laugh. The way she acts is just too cute. It's pretty obvious to him that she's attracted to him. He wouldn't deny that he finds her beautiful.

He was about to tease them a bit more, but he noticed that the tennis team captain was approaching him. He gave her a wide grin. She snarled in reply.

"Yonghwa...-ssi," she began. He laughed, and decided to play along with the captain.
"Taeyeon...-ssi," he imitated. She gave him a stern look.
"The entire university knows that you have a beautiful body, so please don't distract the team. We're preparing for the preliminaries, you know?" she scolded him.

He simply smiled and walked away. He waited from a corner, away from the courts but not entirely out of sight. Taeyeon, the captain, wouldn't make any complaints as long as he doesn't distract the team. He is a stand-out, after all.

When he entered the university, he joined the taekwondo team, in an effort to add moves to his repertoire. He didn't immediately start looking for an MMA gym to join, as he felt that he needed to become a fighter that is able to throw punches, kicks and takedowns before he seriously starts pursuing his craft on the professional level. Within his two-year stay with the team, he immediately became a sensation, reaching the black belt after a year he joined. He was soon flying, smashing wooden boards for exhibition. His good genes garnered attention, and the tennis team was no exception. A few friends of Taeyeon became swept with Yonghwa's looks and ability. He courteously rejected every advances made on him. Taeyeon's friends were dejected and depressed by what Yonghwa did to them. That's the most logical reason as to why Taeyeon loathes him.

He noticed that Seohyun and her friend kept on looking at his direction. He chuckled. He found Seohyun as a very funny person. She can't hide her feelings that well. That fact makes her irresistable. He wants to keep on teasing her.

After tennis practice, Seohyun immediately rushed outside the locker rooms to avoid Taeyeon's sermons. Jieun was chasing her. You wouldn't like it when Taeyeon gives out sermons to her members about proper discipline in practice: she goes through the rules one by one. It takes her an entire hour when she preaches. They don't want to endure an hour, especially when they're about to talk about abs, ripped bodies and pretty faces that makes you want to eat them at sight (if you know what I mean).

"So," Jieun began. They are out of Taeyeon's sight. Seohyun smiled. "What's the name of that guy that made us trip?"
She was about to tell her his name when a voice spoke behind them.

"It's Jung."
They both froze.
"Yong."
They looked at the direction of the voice.
"Hwa."
Seohyun began hyperventilating. Jieun's knees failed her. She sat on the ground.

Jung Yonghwa was smiling at them. And he was not wearing his jacket. Again. Even though it's February, and it's cold.
Seohyun calmed herself down. She smiled. "Don't you feel cold, Yonghwa-ssi?"
He smiled back. "When I see you hyperventilating, I feel warm already."

Her eyes widened.
'Oh. My. God. He's flirting with me!'
She looked at Jieun for help. She saw her best friend looking at the man, a dreamy smile plastered on her face.
He helped Jieun stand up. All she managed to say was, "Gomawo, and you have a beautiful body, by the way."
Yonghwa laughed, and Jieun snapped from her drunken daze. She blushed, and hid behind Seohyun.
"You two are very similar," he told them. Seohyun only managed to show an embarrased smile as an answer.

There was an awkward silence. The man soon wore his jacket and asked them:

"Want to eat? My treat."

A hunk is going to treat them to food? Who would be stupid enough to deny that offer?

They both answered a cheesy "De."

They were wrapped around his fingers. Yonghwa led them away from the courts, as he soon saw Taeyeon walking up towards them. She didn't give up and made chase. They ran away, with Yonghwa carrying Jieun on her back, and Seohyun running on her own. Jieun was in paradise while Seohyun was giving her the look.

A/N: This is just a short update, as I feel guilty from reading all of the comments asking me to update. I will post a longer one soon. :P
