SNSD dormitory. July 7, 2012.
SNSD wanted to attend the Wonder Girls' concert. They all know, however, that they will attract attention if all nine of them attend the concert. They soon decided that only two of them will doll up and go to see the WG sunbaes, since they were kind enough to invite every Soshi member to the concert.
They took nine straws, and cut them to different lengths. They drew straws to decide which member will go. The two people who have the longest straws will go to the concert. Seohyun and Tiffany got the longest ones. Tiffany started squealing and skipping while Seohyun started shaking her legs in a silly motion. She's dancing the choreography for Like This in a way that is teasing her unnies.
"Yah! You're too much, Seo Joohyun!" Yuri exasperatedly told her. She just kept on dancing, and Tiffany soon joined her.
Sooyoung sighed. "It's getting to their heads."
"I'm the leader," Taeyeon arrogantly said.
"And what does that have to do with anything?" Tiffany asked while wiggling her white legs.
"That means I should go," she said emotionally. Tiffany and Seohyun laughed.
"You suggested this in the first place, unnie," Seohyun said. "You could've just chosen one to come with you. Meroooong~"
"Aish, Seo Joohyun," Taeyeon replied with a smile on her face.
"Unbelievable," Jessica said in English while she was sitting in the sofa with her legs crossed, giving the two an icy stare.
"Don't worry Sica," Tiffany told her. She stopped dancing and sat down beside her. "I'll just tell you how awesome it was to be seated there, with the Wonder Girls sunbaes singing and dancing and..."
"Shut up!" Jessica screamed, covering her ears in an attempt to push out all of the things Tiffany told her.
Sunny bolted straight to her room when she got the shortest straw.
Yoona prepared dinner after she got her straw. Anger was evident in the way she was cutting the vegetables.
Hyoyeon was there, but she didn't even bother to pull out a straw. She was busy texting someone.
Seohyun approached her back sneakily. She peeked at her unnie's phone, trying to see who Hyoyeon is talking with.
She saw the characters, and her eyes widened. Her mouth couldn't help but talk.
"You're texting Kim Hyungseok-"
Hyoyeon jumped and looked at her. Everyone looked at their direction. Sunny's head popped out of her door.
"...-ssi?" Seohyun added. She soon smiled that meaningful smile of hers.
"N-no, I'm just texting him about our upcoming performances, since we got far into the competition," Hyoyeon tried explaining, but her phone was grabbed by Taeyeon. She browsed through the messages. Hyoyeon tried wrestling for her phone, but she was stopped by Sooyoung and Yuri.
"So bogoshipp is a part of your performance?" Taeyeon inquired. She was teasing the dancing queen.
Her mouth exploded and she began rapping explanations.
"Yah! It's part of the competition! I mean, we're going to do the rumba next, and we really wanted to show the fans that feeling of love when we dance..." Hyoyeon went on and on.
Yoona, still cooking, interrupted her. "We can feel the love, all right."
Everyone started screaming and jumping around Hyoyeon. Hyoyeon was at a loss with what she should do. She turned to her roommate for help. "Hyunnie, help me."
Seohyun smiled, jumped beside her roommate, tucked her arm around her shoulders and whispered, "Eorrori, Georrori."

Jamsil Indoor Stadium.
She and Tiffany arrived quite early. Tiffany arrived wearing a shirt matched with jeans. Seohyun chose to wear a dress that has diamonds on it. Tiffany mused that Seohyun is starting to wear sparkling things a bit more nowadays.
They sat at a corner where they were entertained by the people organizing the concert, thanking them for showing up. The concert began not long after that. They were having such a good time. Not until Sunny sent her a photo of their television.
It was showing A Gentleman's Dignity. She loved the show not only due to the story, but also to the actors involved. She was personally rooting for Jonghyun. As Jonghyun has had less acting stints compared to their leader, it was nice to see Jonghyun shine on his own. But the picture wasn't showing Jonghyun. It had the choding on the small screen.
"Omo, I forgot that Yonghwa-oppa's cameo is today!" she said, her eyes still on the photo.
Tiffany also looked at her phone. She laughed, and pat Seohyun on the back. "You can just watch it online when we get to Japan later," Tiffany said.
Seohyun violently shook her head. "I told him that I was going to watch!"
Her unnie smiled. "Ah, Seo Joohyun, so you're in touch with him after all."
She blushed. She let the cat out of the bag.
She sat down, and Tiffany continued on enjoying the show.
Soon enough, she got a text. Thinking it was another picture to tease her with, she unlocked her phone irritably. She got the shock of the night when she discovered that it was from him.
"Where are you? Are you free?"

Highway on the way to Daemyunghae. 11 pm.
He parked at a dark spot, so that he won't attract attention. The car was also heavily tinted as an extra precaution. She rode with her unnie in the van, and drove around for 20 minutes before she was dropped in front of the red vehicle Yonghwa also used in their last shoot together as a married couple. She was surprised when her manager oppa allowed her to meet him. He told her that Yonghwa asked for her company two days ago.
Now they're on the road to Daemyunghae. How can she forget the road to the place where her heart bursted with extreme joy?
Her unnies are texting her non-stop now. Tiffany must have reached home, and she blabbered on to everyone that she was borrowed by Yonghwa for the entire evening. She turned it off when she saw Taeyeon's message: "Use protection! We can't afford losing you to a healthy baby, you know!"
It was silent. It was a little too silent. It's the first time that it's only the two of them that are going on a trip together. No cameras to shoot their reactions. No lapel mics attached to their clothes. No people looking on at them. They weren't there as celebrities. He wasn't Jung Yonghwa of CNBLUE. She wasn't Seohyun of SNSD. They were simply Jung Yonghwa and Seo Joohyun. on a very late date.
She tried asking him what are they going to do in Daemyunghae.
He smiled. "We're going to plant sweet potatoes."
She laughed. "We should've gone earlier, then!"
There was a silent lapse, but she can't help asking him what they are going to do there at this hour.
"But Oppa, really, what are going to do when we get there?" she asked him, utilizing her aegyo to her fullest potential.
He thought about it. He was really considering blowing the surprise for her, but he thought that he prepared so much for it to be revealed on the way.
"All that I'm going to say is that it's related to sweet potatoes," he said.
She nagged him a bit more, but he wouldn't say a thing.
They soon reached the farm. He parked behind the trees. She was about to get out, but Yonghwa stopped her. She looked at his direction with a exasperated expression plastered on her face, but her lips was met with his.
They were both shocked. She was shocked because it was her first intimate kiss. He was shocked because he was only supposed to kiss her on the cheeks. No one said a word for a few minutes. They were reading each other's faces, guessing on what the other thinks. Soon enough, Yonghwa spoke.
"Y-y-you shouldn't have moved that much! P-p-pabo!" he stammered. A huge smile was set on his face.
She let out a small laugh. "It's my fault now? But you're the one who kissed me!"
"You're not cooperating with the plan!"
"Choding!"
"Octopus!"
"Ah, cham!"
He gently laughed. She gave him a cute pout.
"Close your eyes," he said.
"You're going to kiss me?" she asked. She can't control her mouth.
He laughed loudly. She pouted harder. Her cheeks are now enlarged.
He poked her cheek to push the air out. "Pabo. I would have kissed you a million times already if that's all I want to do."
She smiled. "So you don't want me to see the surprise?"
"Correct!"
"Okay."
She closed her eyes. She felt a blindfold covering her eyes.
"You're not kidnapping me, right?" she joked.
He laughed harder. "Ah, Seo Joohyun, you're getting pretty funny. Why aren't you showing this side on variety shows?"
"So you're still keeping tabs on me?"
"Of course. And me?"
"I never skip the channel whenever I see a CF of yours."
"Good."
She felt Yonghwa leaving her side. She heard him leave the car. Soon enough, she heard the passenger seat open, and she felt warm hands leading her out of the car.
"Slowly now," Yonghwa's voice guided her through the darkness.
She felt the sturdy hands guide the "blind" Seohyun through the dark farm. She felt that Yonghwa carried her when they went down the slope.
She slapped the man's chest as he let her stand on her feet again. "What are you doing?!" she protested with a smile on her lips.
"I'm not going to risk you having an injury now," Yonghwa told her, his hands still guiding her. "Besides, I promised Hyung that I would bring you back in one piece."
She laughed.
They soon stopped.
"We're here?" she asked.
"Yeah, you can take it off, now," he answered.
She took the blindfold off. As she was blindfolded for quite some time, it took a while before her eyes adjusted to the darkness. She saw nothing in front of her, but she gasped when she looked down.
It was the old sign to their weekend farm.
"The farm owner kept this?" she asked him excitedly.
He laughed at her enthusiasm. "Yes, apparently. There're so many people going to this farm just to see the weekend farm we worked on."
She laughed. She soon noticed that there was a faint light that's illuminating the old sign. She searched for the light source, and found that it was coming from their backs. She saw Yonghwa give an okay sign. She turned around. She fell in love with what she saw.
More than thirty sky lanterns were slowly appearing from the thick flora. Since they were on the countryside, the stars were really visible that night. The two rows that they planted on were surrounded by candles. On their foot are sweet potato shoots and the tools that they used in planting them.
She laughed. "You're really going to make me plant in this dress?"
He smiled. "It was the plan, but you wore that beautiful, sparkly dress..."
"I'm starting to love diamonds, after all."
"That's right! And that's thanks to..."
"Jungmo-oppa!"
He frowned.
"Haha, I'm joking, Oppa."
"It's okay," he told her. "Just plant three shoots at the end."
"There's a surprise?" she asked
"That's right," he answered. He took out gym pants. "Just wear these, palli!"
She took the pants. "I'm going to a place that's far away from the light."
"Ahrasseo."
"NO PEEKING!"
"I'M NOT PEEKING!"
A few minutes later, Seohyun was wearing the pants under the dress.
"It fits perfectly," she said, spinning around. "How did you know my size?"
"A man in love can do anything," he replied.
They both blushed.
She planted three shoots at the end.
One shoot.
Two shoots.
Three.
She calculated it perfectly. The box popped out as she pushed the last shoot.
"Daebak, you got it in one shot," he told her. She answered a laugh.
She opened the small box. It contained a piece of paper. It had the date of that day: 20120708.
"What's this?" she asked.
"Remember our old house at Sangdo-dong?" he told her. Her eyes widened.
She turned the paper. She read what was written. Her eyes filled with tears. She turned to him.
"I love you too. Yes, let's go out," was all she managed to say.
He hugged her.
"Having a house together is too much, though," she said.
"That's okay," he told her, kissing her cheek.
He let go from her hug. He signalled a big "O" with his hands, and shouted to the field, "She said yes, Boss! Thank you for helping!"
A reply soon came. "No problem!"
As they were walking back to the car, she asked him questions about how he prepared everything. He answered everything, even the most minute details.
She was satisfied with his answers. She soon wondered about where they were going to sleep though.
"We're sleeping at our house?" she asked.
He nodded with vigor.
"Yah!" she slapped his arm. "No!"
"I'm not going to touch you! Promise!" he told her. "I'm sleeping n the living room, on the floor. I brought my camping gear. You can sleep on the bed."
She was touched with his sincerity. She decided to reward him.
"We can sleep together," she said.
His face lit up.
"No sex, though," she quickly added.
He whimpered an "Ahrasseo."

In the van, on the way to Ilyoung Herbland. Hours after the small event at Daemyunghae.
Jungshin noticed the clothes Yonghwa was wearing.
"Hyung," he said.
"Hmm?" his hyung replied. He was busy fiddling with his phone.
"Are those the same clothes you wore when you left last night?"
Yonghwa stopped fiddling with his phone and looked at Jungshin. His dongsaengs are now looking at him, smiles glued to their faces.
"You were with Hyungsoonim last night?" Jonghyun asked.
"You slept at your own house last night, right? So she was there?" Minhyuk shot at him.
He sighed. His members are sharp.
"Yes. We're going out."
"Details!" Jonghyun asked.
"I'll tell you on the way there," Yonghwa lazily answered.
"Did you two do it?" Jungshin asked. Jonghyun laughed while Minhyuk gasped.
"ANIYO!" Yonghwa violently reacted, his eyes wide with shock.
"I guess not," Jungshin said with a smug expression on his face.
Yonghwa felt that this is going to be an extra long day.
A/N: A one shot about the dress that Seohyun recycled and the old sign that they had on Daemyunghae. HAHA. Thanks for the anonymous on the YS chatbox who proposed that someone write a fic about those two. Busker Busker's Cherry Blossom Ending helped a lot in the creation of this fic.
