Summation
A list of things done at Pennsic, without too much whining (I hope):
Taught 8 dance classes, each of which had at least the number of people in attendance for a single set (when such was desired/requred).
Learned some valuable stuff about teaching from Master Phillip.
Helped construct and de-construct the dance floor on it's 10th anniversary.
Helped Mistress Rosina achieve her birthday challenge.
Didn't bitch and moan about the lack of motivations/efficiencies in the running/managing of both the dance tent and Clan Dance Horse's camp - primarily because I really wasn't willing to fill the motivational/efficiency gaps.
Watched too many games of Mao - a silent card game with rules that change and that never ends. I will say, though, that it was particularly cruel to include a 13 year old in their first game - sure, she was somewhat annoying, but that was real torture.
Played some games of Wizard - I'm not great at cards, but the players were fun to hang out with. There weren't many other games played, unusually enough, but our chief game leader left war early.
Finished (with much help) and presented Wilhelm's Maunche medallion.
Danced more at this war than I've danced everywhere else over the past two or three years. Don't know why - got over my burnout? Decided to just do it? Needed to prove something to someone? I hope I can continue the trend.
Spent almost no money at the merchants, for once.
