Well, the video for Famous Last Words was utterly lame and boring, and now it's time for I Don't Love You. Thankfully, it at least returns to compelling visual imagery though still lacking a strong narrative.
Seeing this and understanding that that there's always a new audience watching MTV or whatever for the first time, I believe this video will play a big part in expanding My Chemical Romance's audience beyond those who already have preconcieved notions (both good and bad). As I said in my album review, the new style has enormous potential to capture just as much or more of a new listening base than they would lose from expanding beyond death punk. Thankfully, the nature of singles doesn't require a listener to sit through a whole album that may turn them off at the first 20 seconds.
They're playing in Tampa tomorrow night. Why no Orlando love?
