That was the end of that...

...and now straight into preproduction for next semester. There's no rest for the weary.

Tonight, after a potential version-incompatibility scare, got our After Effects video done. Except there's only about 3 or so seconds of any sort of special effect. Got a decent reaction from the two audiences it was shown to. Despite the relatively good amount of B-roll footage we filmed, there are still some long cuts here that could have benefitted from different angles or actions. And non-song audio needed some tweaking. Oh well. Mental note: lighting, lighting, lighting.

Ricky seconds__away and I "worked on" this project since the beginning of the semester, though it really was more like a few short bursts of a few hours at a time. Also starring is former roommate AJ.

My next step is to email it to The Vandals and see what they think about it.

But check out this ridiculousness that one of the other teams whipped up. [ The Citation ] No fair! They had access to a 1080i60 HD camera and SteadyCam system! And props! And talent! I wish they also had on the site the cool credits sequence they made.

In unrelated news, Best Buy put out the Wii component cables, so I was really excited to find them when I went in to pick up next week schedule. Now I can play Zelda! And Gamecube games!
