First day on the floor
Started at Best Buy today. The computer learning software was a bit difficult to navigate and counter-intuitive. After a couple hours of that, I did some actual work. So far I like it far more than Target already. Less running around and more talking about things I actually know about. The current employees are pretty fun, but a couple of the fellow new hires are pretty dull. I had a few looks of, "do I know you somewhere," from some of the employees, but it was quickly explained that I used to be in the store a lot before. My trainer's telling me that I was probably in the store more than people who work there and definitely know a lot more than most, too. I'm now more inclined to outright quit Target.
Lately the internet at the apartment has been going down for long periods of time. It just might be because of the transition to "improved service," or it could be a sign of things to come. I really want to sign up for cable internet, but I doubt any of the roomies will want to split the cost/service with me.
