Waaaaaaahh haaaaaaaaa... WHY?!
Do you know how long it took me to get home after my last class? OVER AN HOUR! I stood at the bus stop by the 500 Building for half an hour, the bus ride through Research Park and all it's other stops takes over twenty minutes before it get back to campus. Then I had to walk to the other bus stop to wait for the bus to Northgate and wait for fifteen minutes! Did I mention I'm lugging around my 15-20-pound laptop bag also filled with books and papers? My lower back is going to ache so bad later.
This is shit. If I didn't imagine it'd be so hard to get parking on campus, I'd drive on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I wouldn't have to put up with all this bullshit.
Incidentally, while waiting for the bus to Northgate, parking services all but invaded our little tent and started handing out yellow postcards--satisfaction surveys. By the looks of it, it's mainly for shuttles for apartment complexes, but I'll be sure to make a complaint about the bus situation in Research Park. Sure, there aren't enough people riding in that area to justify another bus, but they sure as hell need another one running. Maybe some smaller coaches or something?
