Troy in our regular gaming group wanted to do something science-fictiony, so after some talk we decided to make up a TV show and play Prime Time Adventures.

After the game finished last Sunday we spent an hour creating the series.  We ended up recreating StarLost, kind of XD

Last Sunday we had our first In-town session in Storming the Wizard's Tower.

These are supposed to happen every few adventures: a session with no adventure, just developing the town, people and relationships.  Our first adventure took three sessions so I figured it would be okay to have one.

On Sunday Nov. 1st we went to a new town in the Dogs game.

I took Tower Creek Branch from the rulebook; I liked some comments Vincent Baker made in a thread about running it and I thought it'd be fun to try as the first town with real sorcery at work.  It's the third of the example towns, on p.118 of the second edition rules.

Went to Games Night at The Minotaur, and once again we didn't get enough people to run Mountain Witch. I'm looking into another day for that.

My co-worker was a darling and covered me yesterday, so I could go to Free Games Day at the Minotaur, the more upscale of the two games stores downtown (expensive boardgames, toys, puzzles, some RPGs, origami, calligraphy, etc.). It's a nice place; friendly helpful staff who all play the games.

Here's the cast of characters from our VoiP game of Firefly (Dogs in the Vineyard rules). So far Aune, Moriarty and Kazimir have formed the core group, and are working out a solid relationship among themselves at the cost of only one gunshot wound, a concussion, and some bruising that will go away in time - it's been positively amicable.
