Happy Feet...
I just got back from watching Happy Feet. Wonderful movie. Tons of fun. I'm not certain that I'll buy it on DVD though.
I did have a disturbing realization tonight though. A student ticket, costs 8.50 per person at the movie theatre. Making a night at the movies with two people come to 17 dollars. Now...your typical DVD when released, the first week at Best Buy is sold for 14.99 + tax = 15.75. So...for a dollar 25 less, you can own the movie and watch it as many times as you'd like...
How didn't I realize this before...I haven't bought a movie ticket in about...a year and a half or so.
Whats the net of this realization...I will not go to the movies...except for very special occasions. Like...the new Harry Potter.

But...back to the subject at hand. Happy Feet. was fun. very cute. the spanish talking puffin penguins were the best part of the movie. It did feel a bit too much like a musical for me at times...but...the puffins...oh yes...or...were they jackass penguins...i'm not sure...but the non-emporer penguins with the spanish accents...yeah...they were where it was at!!!
