I'm totally drunk and sleepy so this is short. The contest was awesome, I won Third Place yay, and saw some incredible costumes and beautiful girls backstage. And was in a lot of pain all night due to wings/heels/steel boned corset/double staked contacts. But it was another fabulous Dragoncon night and I will have more stories to tell later when I'm sober.
Anyway, here are some pics from backstage of my costume, and the "thing" I'd been working on for so long. A 6 and a half foot tall egg half that we rolled on stage with me in it and turned around - my theme was "Birth of the Goddess". I love that damn thing more than my costume which I also made, and I am already thinking of photoshoot ideas for the egg!
