Three Good Omens drabbles, the first is a crossover with the 1968 film, The Valley of the Bees.

Nice Day For It

If there was one thing Crowley hated to see, it was the first flush of young love. The whole business of tender smiles, anticipating the beloved's needs and ridiculous proofs of affection brought him out in a mild rash.

"I mean, look at those two," he said, elbowing Aziraphale. "I ask you, is this the weather for skinny-dipping?"

"I believe they're quelling the desires of the flesh," Aziraphale said mildly.

Crowley looked at the handsome crusaders lying naked in the Baltic Sea, hands clasped tight. "Is that what they call it, these days?" he said acidly.

He hated young love.

New Toy

"But what is it?" Aziraphale said, examining the mysterious device.

"The short answer's you can read books on it," Crowley said, grinning as Aziraphale suddenly clutched it to his bosom. "You can toss these old-fashioned books now." Aziraphale began to glow in an incoming-wrath manner. "Or not."

"I suppose this logo's your idea of humour?" Aziraphale said, indicating the bitten apple.

"Nah. The other guy's mine."

"Really? I thought he was mine."

They both shrugged.

Crowley retrieved it. "Let me show you something. Ever hear of Angry Birds?"

It took several days to get back to tempting or thwarting.

Historical Accuracy

"I wish Camelot had looked like that," Aziraphale sighed. "I spent most of the time wishing someone would remember how to repair the hypocaust."

"But there was all the boiled mutton you could eat," Crowley said, sniggering at Aziraphale's despair.

"And nobody dressed like that! Really, I should write to the BBC."

"It wasn't all bad," Crowley said. "I was happy to reunite Arthur with his sister."

"That went so well," Aziraphale muttered. He spluttered at the TV. "Did Arthur and Merlin ever look like they were going to kiss?"

"Thought you said you'd been in Camelot?" Crowley said dryly.
