After a day and night of pure allergy hell today I am finally breathing a bit easier again, because at 3 am it started to rain. Nature and I are infinitely grateful.
A few pictures from my Instagram post this morning :)
I really really should finish some work-work but somehow cannot bring myself to do it. Which is bad because there are people waiting for it. I hope I'll feel up to it this afternoon. In the meantime, I have cleaned up a corner in our laundry room which had been long overdue, yay. Also, need to sew some more masks.
Ah, masks. Germans are totally freaking out these days because now that more shops are allowed to open, they will be FORCED to cover their mugs with a piece of paper, textile or whatever strikes their fancy. The explosions on social media are incredible. You'd think they were about to be incarcerated, tortured and mutilated, instead, they just need to cover up for the time it takes them to either be on public transportation or visit a shop or public institution. I just can't believe it. "My liberties are being taken away completely" "I will boycott the shops and buy only online" etc etc etc
I could understand people who have hearing disabilities and only read lips. Or those with severe panic disorders, for whom having something covering their faces could be problematic. But this are just the usual Karens who are certainly going to complain to the manager, you bet. I am so so tired of these people. And I need to stay away from Facebook, because even if I have deleted and blocked most idiots from my feed, sometimes I still happen to read the comments on entries of my friends, who are more tolerant than me and still keep the conspriacy-toting, lamenting idiots on. Gah.
Blessed be LJ. At least here I can remain in my bubble <3
