The sonnet from hell....

So, for creative writing, we had to write a sonnet. The catch was that we were writing half of it as a class and we had to finish it individually and make some sense out of the beginning...

The Fire in my Heart
Stephanie Rae Dallas

We wrote this part as a class:
I would do anything for you, my love,
Except for that because that is so gross.
It’s the doing that’s important. Above
all else I’ll lift you up and love you most
of the time, whenever you are around.
I built my life to match your lovely eyes

I finished it like this:
and now you want to burn my whole life down,
uncaring of our past and starry skies.
Dating a pyro may seem like nothing,
but as he pressures you to destroy your
little sister and endure her sad screams,
his insanity is hard to ignore.
The key to keeping your unstable catch,
is to always have on you a new match.
