Disasters!
Actually, just one very minor one, but I'm going to have to drop you folk a utility post rather than a real one right now.
So my phone died last night. Total crazy turning-self-on-and-off fritz. Then, after great stress, I went to Verizon, and received a replacement several hours later.
That one was defective. Nobody could hear me talk, so I got another one.
That one was defective. Some of the numbers didn't work.
This very patient customer-service guy then spent 20 minutes trying every button and feature he could think of on the last one, because the computer only allows 3 replacements in 24 hours. So far, it seems to have worked.
The upshot is I lost all my numbers, so if you know me and like me, please please please email me with your number. You can get to me at alexandermw@gmail.com, if nothing else. Because I really don't want to lose any of you wonderful people I speak to, and because I refuse to receive a smackdown on my social life from the gods of cell phones--who, after all, are totally annoying at parties.
