Okay, so before I drop this link down, I want you to know I'm not the world's biggest fan of Hugo Chavez. I think he's not competent enough to actually help the poor, and I worry about the undemocratic ways he likes to restrict speech and political opposition. On the other hand, I also don't like his opposition, which seemed to be screwing the poor pretty badly intentionally. My personal thought is "i wish venezuela were one of those latin american countries with one of those non-demagogue leftists in charge." But hey, all of this is immaterial compared to the fact that Hugo Chavez just made my day:
