Tooooo much drama in the world.
Basic updates.
I LOVED Ike coming through here. A tropical storm in Ohio! *sigh* It makes me miss NC so much more. God those winds! Good memories.
I got a cover! Yay! Oh my gosh! It's been accepted, and they liked it, I signed the paperwork and stuff, now I just have to wait for it. Gym Dandy is the book title. It's a gay romance novel, and I'm curious about reading it. I can't wait! I'm going to be published on a cover! Yayayayayayayay!!!
I joined a site that's for admiration of Asian men. I haven't really met anyone I'd say has really intrigued me, but there's someone on the forums who seems interesting. Very interesting, because he seems to have a bit more depth to him than general guys.
We are currently playing "house" for the weekend to one of Isis's class pets. Oreo is a rat. She's so cute! I'm not sure what the cats and dogs think of her yet; though she scared Romeo.
I am currently trying to figure out something to make an animation to. I want to make a real video. Even if it's just basic lineart moving around. I REALLY want to do it. So far, the song is likely going to be Let Me In from Rigoletto, considering my dream-life, I could probably do something with it. I just wish I could find the full version. Here's the short version that I'll probably use:

I found a song I've been PRAYING they'd add somewhere on YouTube. It's from an old Esther Williams/Howard Keel movie, Jupiter's Darling. I love this song, it's funny to me.

I LOVE Howard Keel's basso cantante. It probably helps a lot that he played Petruchio in Kiss me Kate. Manly rawr voice!
We went to Kroger tonight, it was interesting, because I saw some people who worked with me, and some new people. Finally got ahold of Martin, so I could see what was up. Mom likes him more now because when I asked him who he was planning on voting for (when dad's home, politics are big in the house), he said he wasn't 100% on McCain, but he wasn't touching Obama. That was cool. He's sort of like me on that front. He also reminded me about the picture of him that I was set to draw. I started it, but just recently found it again; so I'll be working on that again here soon.
Oh, speaking of dad being home - he had a heart attack. Yeah! Well, last week he calls up and says he's in the hospital cause they found a blood clot. Mom told him that their insurance wasn't going to cover him there, and that he had to find a military/VA one (which was a mile away). Well, after they're finished talking, this Georgian nurse calls us back and says, "Honey, your husband lied to you, he had a heart attack!" Which, when relayed to me as a story, I just busted out laughing, cause that sounded appropriate. Dad didn't want mom to worry, which was nice, but we'd much prefer to know what's going on with him. So, they put a stint in, he has to eat heart-healthy, and the past week he's been treated like an invalid. He's just now able to scale the stairs comfortably, so hopefully he'll feel better soon. I accidentally broke his fishing pole. T-T So we can't really suggest he go fishing.
Lots of stuff going on. Haven't heard from Kroger regarding my job. At this point, I'm not really all that concerned. Blah. Someone suggested that I go to Art School. While I'd love to, I can't think of what I'd do with it. I may just go for English right now. At least then I know I'd be able to be an editor. I like the thought of correcting other people's errors.
I can't wait to see Disney's The Princess and the Frog! It just looks so cute! People are getting up in arms about how it's racist and crap, they need to suck it. It looks good, and for any ign'ant people out there, the firefly's a COONASS (Cajun)!

I'm also currently dealing with sinuses. >.< Not fun. Love Fall, hate the sinuses that come along with it. I think I'm going to post my Natal Chart info in the next one, that's fun. At least, I like to think so.
