so hows it going thar livejournalz?
I haven't posted in you in a long time. I am posting from Tokyo, so I bet you're all like "OH SNAPS!"
things that rock about Japan:
1. speaking Japanese
2. being in Japan
3. Japanese people
4. trains and their wackyness
5. arcades in japan
6. movies
7. my school (which is by far the coolest school ever)
8. my dorm (which is in like the New Jersey of Tokyo... aka chiba)
9. Having a commuter pass that takes me through Akihabara. (maybe I should start reading more manga and watching more anime and playing more videogames JUST because I go through akihabara every day.
10. making friends
things that don't rock about Japan:
1. missing the people in AZ, or in other parts of Japan that I can't just go see whenever.
2. everyone is really shy and quiet... and I'm not...
another thing that rocks about Japan is that people don't reverse discriminate me because I'm white (OMG YOUR WHITE SO YOU OPPRESS MY PEOPLE [from any minority person]) they direct discriminate me because I'm white (OMG YOUR WHITE............. lol)
sometimes it's good discrimination, like they're trying to be helpful, and I understand it... like if I order at a food place they'll fetch the dude or girl who can speak the best english and be like "LOL CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER PLZ!?"
there's not so much direct outloud negative discrimination of anyone in Japan... to be honest, I think that Japan really has the whole "international community" thing down... it's cuz americans are loud and outspoken that we have things like the kkk and things like that...
I love Japan.
but I also miss Arizona.
