soo long time no update.
i went to the mall tonight with jon. i bought the evanescence cd which is awesome. good cd from start to finish. i also bought a leather wristband. jon has one and he left it at my house and i thought it was pretty sweet so i bought one for myself. we saw kurt and bryn there and that was cool. then jon and i went to jens for a little while, watched the daily show w/jon stewart which is hilarious, and then we both went home.
on saturday i had this banquet thing with the knights of columbus. they honor the top 2 students at area schools and give us awards and stuff. it was cool, the food was baaaaad. bryn and i had fun trying to make it look like we ate the food. we all got a free 3 month membership to planet fitness. the only other guy there is also going to rensselaer, but hes going for biomedical eng. he may be in some of my classes because all eng. students have the same freshman curriculum 1st semester.
i found out i did not get into barton hall at rpi :(. its the best dorm and reserved for medal winners and early decision kids. i guess i didnt win the lottery for it out of the medal winners :(. kylans friend got in, so we will shun him. kylan and i are both in one of the 4 lesser dorms on freshman hill, but they are all good anyway, just not as good as barton. i'll probably be in crockett hall since i put it as choice 2. adam gaige had it last year and he said it was great.
we bought my new laptop. 2300 bucks from rpi. its gonna be nice i cant wait to get it in august. i have orientation in 2 weeks and it will be cool. i'm gonna get together with some of the kids on the rpi ski team while i'm there, should be a good time.
ski camp is one month away! i'm excited. i bought my ski bag for the plane today. i found spyder jackets for $120 online and my jaw dropped. those things are like 300-500 normally, i was very tempted to buy one so i could be more "racer" at camp haha but i didnt. saving my money for the atomic sx11's i plan on buying after camp is over. i had a dream about them last night. i was skiing a gs course and i had my new sx11's on and i won the race. yep, quite the dream since me winning a race will probably never happen, but i would love it.
