orange blanket makes three
this blanket, following in line with this blanket and this blanket, was done as a collaboration knit in panels.
the first 2 panels are the same stitch patterns used in past iterations of the blanket.
this panel is called "compact chevrons", from a stitch pattern book from the library. sadly, i don't have the book name or author noted. it's basically a horeshoe cable that i flipped every so often to mix it up a bit.
i like the way the applied i-cord border ties it all together
we went with a seed stitch background for this blanket. i love seed stitch. it seams together remarkably well, too.
the recipient all cocooned up in the blanket :)
