there's a list of confirmed performers up on the falcon ridge folk festival website! i'm especially excited about dan bern, david massengill, john gorka, and eric schwartz. haha, i guess i like the familiar, because i know all of them from kerrville, but most of them haven't played there in years and years.

I grew up at the Ridge, it's in my town, I go every year!

cool! i've been going to another music festival down in texas for 13+ years now, but last year was my first year at falcon ridge. we're going back this year, and we'll be working on staff again.

Are there other crafters you know who will be there?

We could have a big ol' crafty party.

a possibility of one crafty person i know might be there. i'll be bringing my hula hoops and probably some knitting. i'm not sure anything else is travelable.

I was looking at those yesterday. Out of curiocity, how on earth doe you go about making a hula hoop?

you're welcome! a warning, though: hula hoops are addictive, and a pain to travel with. i'll no doubt bring a bunch to falcon ridge, as they're a fun way to pass the time when the shift is slow.

Haha, that's a good warning. I'm transitioning right now, and will be moving several times. I'll hold off a bit.
