mexico
all is well in mexico so far. that is, after we managed to convince the airport teller to let us on the plane despite the fact that dan´s passport is expired. we stupidly believed the online research statin g all we need is a photo id, which we both brought in the form of u.s. drivers licence. since we did managed to get on the plane, this trips has been a real treat, as the thoiught of staying in n.y. in the cold was quite sad.
right now we´re in tulum, staying in these little cabanas with hammocks for beds. quite nice, even though it was hard to sleep last night with the cold winds blowing all the way down from canada.
the views area amazing, we´ve done some swimming, not too much sunburning (mostly on dan´s part, who´s too stubborn to wear sunscreen), snorkeling, ruin-seeing, eating, drinking, you name it, and gorgeous sunny weather. i´ll have photos and more stories later. internet cafe time is up for the moment.
