i haven't been to a movie theater in quite some time, but i've been watching a lot of dvds. we saw a rather stellar one last night, called
the wooden camera. the story itself was good, but the filming was really incredible. i highly recommend it for anyone who's interested in filmmaking and good imagery.
we also saw a collection of shorts on friday called
spooks & creeps. this might not be for everyone because they're all of the horror/twlight zone-ish genre, but they were all well done and disturbing psychologically, which is the job of any self-respecting horror film.
apart from that, i've been a busy bee, trying to get all sorts of gifts and projects together for upcoming babies and birthdays. pictures when things slow down a bit. i'll be in houston this weekend, and i already have all the days planned out because i have far too many people's schedules to juggle. at least i'll get some knitting done on the plane.
