I'm going as a long AU hurt/comfort House/Wilson fic, complete with magic. So, you know, a whole elaborate ren-faire costume, complete with beading and marabou.

I hadn't really thought about it. I guess I could, although I don't really know what I'd write, as I've written a lot of different stuff already. I guess I could write something incredibly sappy and romantic ... I don't think I've done that yet.

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, you're perfectly okay. Everything is essentially finished (the uber-magnificent bironic gave me some very good pointers, but I think they're all done).

Of course, if that's not what you're talking about, then I'm totally at sea and we're happily adrift.

Since I only ever seem to leave comments here on LJ, my costume will be that of an actual fanfic writer. This seems like a good opportunity to play with a couple of plot bunnies that would work better as mock-stories designed for comic relief than the real thing.

Hooray! Can't wait to read them. Something tells me they'll be brilliantly bad. Or awfully enjoyable. Or some combination thereof.

With you on those darned inconvenient plot bunnies, too. Got two ideas this week that are poking (nibbling?) at my brain and that is the last thing my life needs right now. Am thinking about co-opting one for the Halloween party, but how do you "come as you aren't" when you've only written a few stories and they've each been a bit different?

Anyway, have a great trip!
