(no subject)
there are several blogs/ websites/ books about bookmarks- or things being used as bookmarks. like bacon. scabs, possibly with smallpox,or Hitler's Gold Bookmark. (as an aside- i would totally go and watch a movie about this)
they all seem to be focused on what the bookmark is/ what it looks like. none of them seem to have any information on what the damned bookmarks are MARKING, which i am, for the next ten minutes at least, far more interested in.
i mean, you'd think with all the obsession with social tagging/ bookmarks (i.e. delicious) some appropriately geeky/navelgazing MLIS candidate somewhere would have a bloody wordpress out on it.
*and figure out a perfect tag for it in delicious. if i were a jerk of a professor, i would assign this to my class.
