I Have SAIT Sugar
Thats right, sait brand sugar. Just wait till I go the Sait bookstore and buy some of those trendy SAIT socks I have been eyeing for a while! Not only that, but (hopefully) soon I can buy some SAIT meat and bring that home for sustinance, rather than eating out. I had requested that the Turbo Broiler from the edgemont house be brought to the dalahousie house so I could cook my own meals and such. My request is pending... apparently the vegetarian parent figuers I have no longer like the smell of meat.
For those of you who don't know what a turbo broiler is, it is a nifty little cooker thingy that I used a lot while I was taking care of my Grandma down in the NorthEast. I don't know exactly how it works, but I think it just uses convection currents to cook things in a conveniently fast way. We lost the origional bottom to the TB, but the cooking mechanism thingy is in the lid anyways. Basically all I have to do is stick some animal part on a grill so it doesn't touch the bottom of the pot, and turn it on. At my grandma's, it would cook a steak in about 25 minutes. Best of all, the steak is juicy, and delicious... and meat.... MMmmmmm... luckily, rice will cook in about the same amount of time. So if I had the TB and a rice cooker in my house here, cooking a meal would be as simple as, season meat, put meat in TB, put rice in rice cooker, wash rice, turn on rice cooker, and then dork around for a while, maybe cook up some veggies if I feel like it. God I love meat... I miss it so much...
