Hah, wtg SAIT, wtg Chinook. Glad to hear that things got worked out in the end - what a scare that would be if you didn't get to enroll in your classes and your dependent courses (like, all of them) would have to be done in the next semester.

Reminds me of the time I went to get a cellphone. Getting a cellphone, like getting a house or a car, usually requires a credit check. So anything related to your credit history, all the credit cards you own, loans, etc. and how quickly you pay things back, is submitted to the inquiring company and they can make a judgement on whether or not they want to do business with you. I have a good credit history, so I didn't worry about it. They said that in 24 hours my cellphone should be active.

That was not the case.

Turns out that instead of "Catherine Rosemary Sanchez" on my credit report, some idiot decided to limit the number of characters allowed in a name, making my name "Catherine Rosema San". Bastards. Thankfully my name isn't Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. I had to call the credit bureau, ask for a copy of my credit history before I could even talk to them (Go snail mail! Thanks for wasting 2 weeks of my life), then tell them to go f- I mean to go file my name properly. That was my life story to teach the moral of "if there's paperwork involved, always make sure the correct information goes to the correct people." Well, maybe I wasn't such a fast learner. Last week I sent my home insurance papers to the condo I don't even own yet.
