The geology trip to Slimbridge wasn’t nearly as bad as I had expected. I feel quite bad for being so harsh on my classmates, they were really funny. The first day was spent drawing and studying the cliff, which sounds dire, but was very interesting. The only down side to it was the fact that it pissed it down for half the day. We were caught in the middle of a horrendous thunderstorm, so thick you could barely see through it.
The youth hostel was pleasant too with good food.. The group then settled down in the evening to play monopoly and have a very in depth discussion about our individual sexual conquests, some of which were quite surprising! The second day was more lax and was just spent collecting fossils from various places. Overall a good trip J
