Ah, yesterday was so good. James came round to keep be company at lunch. He told me he was coming to drop a DVD off at my house before college, which scared me because at 8.15 I was still in bed. So I had to warn him that I looked a wee bit scary that early in the morning. He’s now met my whole family and seen them all in their jammies. I can’t think of anything scarier personally… But yes. So I saw him twice yesterday and twice the day before that.
Chemistry was amusing in that Amreet and I somehow managed to make an ester that stunk out half the classroom. I think we used the wrong alcohol, and instead of smelling of Vicks it smelled a bit like petrol and vomit. Good times.
The evening was stressful to start with, but it turned out alright in the end. I got on the wrong line of the Northern Line and ended up miles away from Westminster with no time to get there. I ended up having the sprint the whole length of the bridge. I am ridiculously unfit so I pretty much died when I finally found Helen by the Eye. I had bargained on Jemima coming with us too, but I rang her to double check she could come the day before (probably not the best move) and she had a fancy dress party to attend. So I asked Guy to come in her place at last minute. Which he did, and as far as I know he had a great time too J
QI is officially the funniest thing ever, and really rude! It was completely surreal, because they were filming the Christmas special, so everything was decorated. Very strange indeed. The guests couldn't’ve been better either. We had Sean Lock, Bill Bailey and Jo Brand :O :O :O :O And they were all dressed up in really random costumes.
Ah, ‘twas such good times. We went for a lovely meal in Leicester Square afterwards. Overall, very good night.
Also, James and I have our day in London all planned now too! First we’re going to the Tate, then for afternoon tea in Harrods, dinner in the Rock Garden in Covent Garden, then to watch part of the Proms in the evening J
Argh!! I’m so excited! J It’s going to be damn expensive, but boy will it be worth it…
