In the past ten weeks, I
Taught nine-year-olds about energy conservation, and
Read eight books, and
Wrote seven papers, and
Won six ribbons, and
Sewed five hundred gold sequins and coins onto a swimsuit (okay, I didn't actually count, but that's what it felt like), and
Witnessed four letters (D-A-R-A) spelled out in carrot shavings and sent to me on the tray conveyor belt to the dishroom, and
Saw (at least) three separate incidences of streaking, and
Learned overflowing amounts about Simmel's dyad theory about groups of two, and
Enjoyed one lovely liberal arts life.
And I did other things too.
