rain, rain, go away
Yesterday was a lovely spring day. I nearly skipped to practice. Didn't have much fun there. Didn't skip home. Then nearly skipped to a private viewing of SATURN in the amazing observatory last night. I can't even describe how effing cool that was.
My academic ideals are completely at odds with each other--science? words? both? so glad I still have a little while to decide.
And I'm SO SICK of self-centered people. no one wants to hear about how that exact same thing happened to you, dammit. thank you. rant over. and yes, I realize that this rant is contained within a journal entry about myself.
It's funny; one would think that college kids are beyond the age of playing with food. According to a recent study conducted while working in the dishroom, they aren't.
First collegiate meet is tomorrow. Pretty psyched; what else is there to be?
This weekend sees the continuation of my tradition of writing a paper every weekend. delightful.
I got a lovely little note yesterday that compared me to a 200+ decibel Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert- "above the human threshold of pain." Because I rock. How incredibly romantic. :) what's not to love?
