Everything about new-new Who leaves me cold - I don't care about the companions, really, (maybe Rory) and I find myself caring less and less about the Doctor, which to me is really sort of sad. I became a fan with NuWho, but eagerly went back to see the previous series and fell in love with old Who as well. And it was always character and story that won out over everything else.
