Spike isn't sure what he'd do first if he could have the chance to torture Xander's parents. He thinks of it when the boy comes to a meeting hiding new bruises or blood. When night time rendezvous aren't about sensual touches and rather feature gauze and ointment, when the whelp curls up and cries when he thinks no one will hear. They both know the nightmares Spike holds him through don't feature demons or slime monsters, considering the way the boy puts off questions from everyone including Spike himself. These are the times Spike thinks of screams, blood and fire.
