The rainstorm was sudden and heavy; the heavens opening up on them as they tried to finish up patrol, ground suddenly turning to dangerous mud flats and grassy sink holes. Visibility almost zero even for a vampire, they head back to the crypt laughing as they fall inside and closed the door. Trembling hands stripping off sodden clothing which falls with heavy thumps to the floor. Then it's hands and tongues playing games of catching drips of water, and despite the laundry they'll have from this tomorrow, tonight they decide that they don't mind being caught in the rain.
