Well, hte big announcement happend. 37 people have been let go. Thankfuly, I'm not one of them. Pay will be going up, which is good, but I'm not sure I want to be here. If I want to stay on the New Media team, I have to apply, I wont get the lead (which would be nice), and quite a few people I knwo and like have been let go. I've been here three years with no sign of promotion or change in role in sight, the pay isn't great (but at least it's getting better) and I'm not really sure I want to stay in computing. Gonna buy a guardian at lunch and see what's in the job section. Life is uncertain at the moment and I'm feeling it more than usual :(
